Pre-release weekend is your first chance to crack packs, pick your college, and see how this set actually plays. This is classic prerelease energy with an academic twist: brand-new cards, wild synergies, and entire tables pausing mid-match to go, “hold up… that combo is legal??”

You’ll open a Strixhaven Prerelease Pack, build a 40-card Sealed deck, and jump into casual, low-pressure matches where experimentation is encouraged, big brain plays are celebrated, and misplays are just part of the curriculum.
